Mrs. Mix has 30+ years in the music business having done everything from being an artist herself to working on the set and being a part of a crew for TV music shows to interning for and managing some of the most iconic recording studios including Electric Lady Studios, Chicago Trax, Cherokee Recording Studios, Amigo Recording Studios and Lighthouse Recording Studios. She’s even juggled her worlds to include managing bands’ careers. What you may not know about Mickie Scott is that she nearly blew up her chances on the first day of what would be considered her biggest break and stepping stone into this crazy world that we know as the music business. Literally.

Al Pitrelli is known for his incredible guitar work with a myriad of groups including Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Megadeth, Alice Cooper, Joe Lynn Turner, Asia and Savatage.
What you may not know is that one of his first recordings was with Kathy Troccoli in 1991 and continued on his path recording with Asia, Expose, Taylor Dayne, and Widowmaker the following year.
While Dirty D was chatting with Phil during Memphis Metal Mondays, they got a phone call from Al Pitrelli while he was out towards the end of his last Trans-Siberian Orchestra tour (December 2016) and wound up discussing how this musical-director-extraordinaire got his start in the business and about his on-going career and influences plus what advice he would give to the up and coming artists.
